RUAG’s April newsletter includes:
RWS are introducing new packing starting with their centrefire ranges. The boxes will feature a wood-look for the hunting sector, and a colour look (yellow and orange) for the varying quality grades of the sport sector.
The packaging will include multiple plastic inserts, each holding five rounds. These offer optimal protection for the ammunition.
The box’s viewing window allows you to instantly determine how many rounds are left while a removable fold-out card provides all of the relevant data (Bullet type, ballistic data, weight, etc).
The new Bergara B14 Ridge, available in .270 Win, .308 Win and .300 Win Mag.
New from Austrian ‘scope manufacturer Kahles is the K318i is optical perfection packed into an ultra-short housing. To achieve the highest performance standards in such a short format design took many years of development and the latest in technology, including the complex lens system, use of special glass types and the innovative etching technology which is required to provide precise illuminated reticles in first focal plane (FFP) according to Kahles high standards. The optical system with its wide field-of-view and the exceptional high contrast image sets new standards for ultra-short riflescopes.
The rugged K318i with its practical magnification range, has been developed for tactical use and long distances. It is intended to help ambitious shooters to achieve record performances. The clearly defined, precise clicks, together with the exceptional repeat accuracy provide the highest precision and reliability possible. The Kahles exclusive arrangement of operating elements with the parallax wheel integrated in the elevation turret, ensures easy handling. All operating elements provide maximum grip and can also be comfortably used with gloves. Information on the turrets is clearly readable from the aiming position and the large adjustment range provides enough reserve for any situation, leaving the shooter to fully concentrate on the essentials.
The innovative, patented TWIST GUARD windage with its freely rotating end cover, reliably prevents an accidental movement of the windage. This simple solution not only protects the windage from accidental movement, it also allows the shooter fast and unhindered handling without the cumbersome need of “locking” and “unlocking”.
Another of those little practical details – the Allen key for zeroing the turrets is housed in the cap of the illumination unit and therefore always available. Hence the illumination unit can easily be opened without any additional tool.
